Go Seahawks!

We got to go to a Seattle Seahawks game with my dad and our friend Chuck. It was a lot of fun, the seats were great, and the Seahawks won! And we even got to wear my sister & her husband's jerseys. I think Brandon is really trying to not look too tall in that last picture?

O Canada

Victoria was beautiful. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed perfect weather. Although we tried to get the cheapest hotel room online they gave us a free upgrade because they overbooked or something. We had 3 shower heads, it was awesome. The street performers were great, especially Darth Vader fanatically playing the violin. Another one of the highlights was discovering croquet at a castle. It was like a dream come true. I think we are going to start budgeting to buy that castle.

Mount Rainier National Park

We drove all over to get near Mount Rainier, we even saw some loggers using the longest zip line I've ever seen to haul trees up a mountain. Then we found this pretty hike, it was so mysterious because it was foggy. It kind of freaked us out for awhile because it was intensely quiet. I think it made us more nervous because of the signs we read about how to handle mountain lions. The instructions said not to run, and to fight back vigorously. After awhile we saw some other people and that made us more comfortable to see that they had come out alive.

Ocean Camping

On our vacation to Washington we camped by the ocean Friday & Saturday. We had a great time playing in the water, flying kites, and helping Emily (our cute niece) to find sand dollars. I really wanted to go swimming, but we forgot to wear our swim suits. So I just got really wet in my clothes.

Rocky Mountain Revue

What a boring game. Good thing our friends are really fun.

Settlers back in the day

Good times.

Las Vegas

Since we didn't make it to the finals in the basketball tournament we went to Vegas with Chris and Staci instead! We wondered around the hotels, watched the fountains at the Bellagio, went to bed after 2am, had a delicious breakfast buffet feast (although Brandon was disappointed in himself for not being able to eat as much as he wanted to), then we enjoyed a very interesting & informational art exhibit called Bodies, and arrived back in Provo Saturday night. What a great weekend.

Cedar City

We had a great weekend camping in a tent down by the river for Brandon's basketball tournament. Their team played great, especially considering they played at the collegiate level with only 5 guys most of the time, while the other teams had a whole bench of subs. All the games were close and we lost 2 and won 1.
