I've read how it's nice when kids are attached to certain items because it gives them a sense of security when they're sleeping away from home. I don't remember how it started but Calvin seemed to really like holding socks so every time I put him down to go to sleep he is given his pacifier, a sock, and one of his blankets. He seems to be getting more attached to his blankets lately and will go get them from his room to walk around with. One night I knew he was ready for bed because he came out of his room with his binky in his mouth and was carrying both a sock and his blanket and then came and laid his head on me. It was really cute.

Calvin is starting to say a few words. He is best at "yeah" and "bubble". Bubble is definitely his favorite and ever since he realized he could say it he gets really excited whenever he sees his green bubble container and won't stop talking about the bubbles. He has started saying "dad" more, and it seems like he is trying to say "mom" when I ask him to. He seems to think really hard and then blurts out "bobo". It's a little different than how he says "bubble", but come on, that's not even close to "mom".

I just wanted you to know that my Grandmas and my aunts and the girls that threw my shower are still talking about how cute Calvin is. :)
